Federal Programs & Grants
The Poteet ISD Federal Programs and Grant Department is committed to the responsible management of a wide range of federal, state, and local education initiatives. Our department oversees programs such as the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), State Compensatory Education (SCE), and various TEA Grants, ensuring that all resources are used effectively to support student success.
In collaboration with district leadership, campus staff, and families, we support programs and events that promote student achievement, family engagement, and community involvement. Our primary goal is to ensure compliance, accurate reporting, and the strategic use of funds to benefit every learner in Poteet ISD.

Private Non-Profit (PNP) Schools – Equitable Services & Consultation
PNP schools that serve students residing within the Poteet ISD attendance boundaries are encouraged to reach out for a consultation regarding equitable services. These services may support eligible students, families, or staff as outlined under ESSA and other federal programs.
Each federal funding source has specific guidelines and eligibility criteria, so timely and meaningful consultation between PNP schools and the district is required.
