2024 Bond Election

The Poteet ISD Board of Trustees approved an order calling for a $65,000,000 May 4th bond election based on the recommendations of the Bond Steering Committee. This bond will address campus safety upgrades, additions, renovations, priority maintenance, and student growth. 
 

If approved by voters, the tax impact on property owners would be an increase of 3.8 cents per $100 of property value.

The $65,000,000 bond proposal will be presented to voters as one proposition on the ballot. Projects associated with the proposed bond proposal include:

  • New classrooms and support spaces

  • Multipurpose media center

  • New culinary lab and classroom

  • Renovating and expanding an existing gymnasium and cafeteria. 

  • Campus safety upgrades & renovations

  • Priority maintenance

  • Partial HVAC equipment replacement

  • Storm and sanitary infrastructure improvements
